Wake up Feeling Great in the Morning.

Most people don’t have a problem waking up in the morning. However for some it’s a constant struggle fighting the alarm clock and feeling less than themselves in the morning. An estimated 70 million people have some form of sleeping disorder in the United States. For these people there are a few simple steps to take to help you get up in the morning feeling your best.
•First identify if you have a sleeping disorder and if so what one. This will help you research methods of dealing with it or help your doctor treat your sleeping problem. There are many sleep deprivation related diseases you should know the source of your problem.
•Avoid caffeine, chocolate and food before bed. You may be waking up feeling like you didn’t get a good night’s sleep because you went to bed on a full stomach, consumed caffeine or some other food that stimulated the brain and wouldn’t allow you to fall asleep.
•Exercise in the morning. By getting 30 minutes of physical activity in the morning you can improve the way they feel not only in the morning but throughout the whole day. Exercise in the morning will also speed up your metabolism letting you burn more calories each day.
•Turn off the TV before you go to bed. TV producers want you to stay up and stay tuned in. This is why they always seem to go to commercial right when the most important thing is coming on next. Don’t let the TV steal your sleep. By turning off the TV before you go to bed you can clear y our mind and focus on sleeping. You will wake up more refreshed if you actually get to sleep when you lay down and don’t watch TV all night.
•Keep your sleeping cycle constant. Your body gets in a sleeping cycle and by messing that cycle up you will get less sleep at night. Train your body to fall asleep and wake up every day at the same time. This means on weekends too.There is no such thing as making up for lost sleep. So don’t mess up your schedule on the weekend trying to make up for lost sleep during the week.
•Calm down before you go to sleep. You can’t go from hyped up on physical activity strait to bed. Try light yoga, meditation, praying or other calming practices that will allow you to calm your mind and body down to get the best sleep your body needs.
•Wakeup the first time the alarm clock goes off. When your alarm goes off your body no matter what you think isn’t going to get anymore useful sleep. So get up and get going. This will put you in a better mood and by not making you late will also reduce the amount of stress in your day. Use the extra time in the morning to eat a well-balanced breakfast and for the exercise that we talked about earlier.
Everyone must sleep. The problem is that some of us are sleeping a lot better than others. This however is something that can be fixed with a few simple changes that we choose to make in our day to day lives. Diet, exercise and even stress levels all play a factor in the amount of sleep we get each night. These in turn are all damaged when we sleepless. Don’t fall victim to losing sleep.
